What will all the children eat while schools are closed?
“More than 1 of every 10 people in the Bay Area today are hungry.”
While schools are closed, there are children who won’t have the consistent meal service they are used to. If your children aren’t in school due to closures, contact the school to see if they’ll still be offering boxed lunches.

There are thousands of family that rely on schools to feed their children. This is a very sad situation, and we should talk more about this and support communities that are going through difficult times.
most schools are offering curb-side pickup of meals for students in need
My local school calls all families through automated reminders when food will be available for curb pickups. Also local restaurants and gas stations have been offering free children meals daily. I also know some churches in the area that offer free meals through the summer in my area.
